What we collect. The information you enter in our forms: your name, your company, your email address, your message and any details you choose to provide (current website, apps concerned, number of people, language).
Why. To respond to your request, prepare a proposal and, if you place an order, perform the contract. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, then of the contract (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(b)).
Who has access. The Smartera team handling your request. Your information is stored in our management tool, hosted by Odoo SA. The website is served by Cloudflare, which also counts visits and measures loading speed without cookies; with your consent, it is measured by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. These providers act on our behalf. Where data is processed outside the European Union, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). Your information is not sold, rented or used for marketing without your consent.
How long. Three years after our last exchange if you do not become a client; for the legal retention period for accounting records if you do.
Your rights. You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of its use, object to its processing, or receive it in a readable format, by writing to [email protected] or to the address given in the legal notice. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
Cookies
Necessary cookies. They make the website work and remember your choices (session, language). They do not require your consent.
Audience measurement. Only with your consent, we measure website traffic and the requests received using Google Analytics.
Advertising. Only with your consent, the Meta pixel measures the requests that come from our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and lets us show those ads to people who have already visited the website.
How it is loaded. These tools go through Google Tag Manager, which loads them only after you consent. Without your consent, neither Google Analytics nor the Meta pixel is loaded.
Changing your mind. You can change your choices at any time: reopen the cookie panel.
